This model was done because I came across the Verlinden cockpit set which was awesome. I then saw an article In Fine Scale Modeller of an F4U so I decided to have a go at one myself. The Engine is From Teknics and the flaps and undercarriage bays come from a company whose name escapes me but was available through Meteor Products. I used Life Colour Acrylics to paint the Corsair and gave it a very weather beaten finish as was typical of these aircraft.
