1/32 Williams Bros. GeeBee R-1 Racer

The model was built essentially out of the box with only a few custom decals. My main reference source was the San Diego Aerospace museum’s full-size GeeBee replica.

The most difficult part of the build is the black line between the red and white paint. I cut very fine strips of blue masking tape. The tape was “painted” with a black, permanent Sharpie pen before application.
