Here´s my recent build of Trumpeter´s F-4F Wildcat. It was built out of the box except for masking tape seat belts, Verlinden belt buckles and solder break lines. Insignias and code numbers were stenciled and airbrushed. The model was airbrushed the two tone Navy blue and grey camoflage scheme with Tamiya´s Acrylics, mixed to the appropriate shades. I coated it with Future, washed with oil paints and airbrushed some gunsmoke blowback. The model represents Ensign Bruce Donald Jacques of VGF-29 off the USS Santee during Operation Torch, November 1942.
