Revell/Hasegawa Focke Wulf FW 190 D9 by Christian Kirchhoff
This is my FW 190 D9 I built this plane out of the box without other features. This isn't my best plane, but the first that is looking good after starting with airbrush. There is not much to say, the parts fits very good, the details are nice and the Revell decals are near to perfect. You can choose between three versions. 1/JG 26 from May 1945 Last version I decided to build because
it´s the most colorful plane.
The cockpit I miss a few throttle and mixture handles, but ok...
The painting First I airbrushed the interior color on the masked canopy because it shines through. Do you see my cool airbrush in the background? Cool, huh? I think its 10 or more years old, but it works!! A gift from my Grandpa, who´s building flyable planes.
After that I sprayed the fuselage with the ground color in RLM 76 and then the wings in RLM 70. Notice, the RLM colors are mixed from Revell colors, but my next plane I´ll spray with the "real" RLM colors from Gunze!
The camouflage is complete.
A yellow strip for the "Richthofen" JG.
And here with decals.
The number of building is on both sides of the ruder. Not like Messerschmitt only on left side. FINISHED!! Yes ok, I´m not a great background fan...
I hope you enjoyed my plane. Perhaps we´ll see us again soon. My next plane (Messerschmitt Bf 109 G6) I will be finishing in a few weeks. Nice greetings from Germany! © Christian Kirchhoff 2004 |
