Tamiya 1/32 Turkish F-4E

By Paul Stoner

Here are some pictures of my Turkish F-4E which was built in about 200 hrs with Tamiya's F-4J kit with CAM decals, Conversion with Cutting Edge's F-4E set (both sets) minus the nose it was home made, detailed with Eduard's F-4J PE set. Bombs are from Tamiya's F-14A kit and AIM-9s from Cutting Edge. A lot of scratch building in the cockpit with fully detailed side walls and detailed exhaust area. Paints used was Model Master Enamels weathering with pastels and felt pen.

I am very proud of this model it won 1st place Aircraft #177 at this years IPMS/USA National Convention. I've only been really building for a couple of years and I know there are some mistakes and inaccuracies on the model, but it still feels good to see someone liked it. I'm looking forward to next year.
