Airfix 1/24 Bf 109E

Lt. Winfried Schmidt aircraft of 5,/JG77 at Jever in German, on 18 December 1939 first victory, a RAF Wellington. Airfix 1:24 Messerchmitt Bf 109E - overworked on E-1 version.

The aircraft is camouflaged in a splinter pattern of black-green (RLM 70) and dark green (RLM 71) with light blue (RLM 65) underneath.

Schmidt's personal motto „ Kölle alaaf ” (literally „ Up Köln - the title of one the songs used in the city's carnival procession).
