Hasegawa 1/32 Bf 109K-4

By Darren McGuinness

This is my Hasegawa 1/32 Bf 109K-4. This is my first Luftwaffe build in this scale so go easy one me! The model was built OOB with the exception of some AM decals and some minor home made enhancements to the cockpit. This was an absolute joy to work on and I certainly want to build another 109 in the future!

This kit was a gift from a great friend who has talked me into trying Luftwaffe subjects and I think I am hooked! This particular airframe was marked as a JG 53 bird from early 1945. That's as much as I know about it, I chose this scheme because I simply liked the colours and camo pattern. I saw this aircraft built in 1/48 scale on the web some time ago and it caught my eye and fired my imagination.
