Hasegawa 1/32 P-47D-30 “Glenn T. Eagleston”

By Tolga Ulgur

This is 1/32 Hasegawa P-47 D-30 finished with the markings of Maj. Glenn T Eagleston from 353rd FS in France late 1944.

I have decided to modify cockpit area by using Aires cockpit set and Eduard instrument panel . Cockpit parts painted to Dark Dull Green by using Gunze Sangyo H302.

I have purchased Vector Engine set for R 2800-59 engine with GE ignition parts which are used in P-47D30 . I have decided to use front section of the Vector set by keeping Hasegawa s cylinders. Engine finished with the addition of some lead wires.

Painting done with Alclad lacquers.

Kit decals are used in the model.

Quickboost gun barrels and Barracudacast wheels are the final modifications.
