Hasegawa 1/32 Fw 190A-5

By Luc Janssen

Introduction

This is a model I made some years ago, but I took new pictures recently. The kit is of typical new-tool Hasegawa quality with a good fit needing only very limited filler. The cockpit layout of a Fw 190 A5 is fairly simple and I only had to add minor details to give it a descent look. The belts were made from flattened lead strips, but I can’t remember where the buckles came from. I reworked the connections of the landing gear covers to the struts and shortened the tailwheel strut a little.

The ETC 501 bomb rack was scratch built and the SC 250 bomb with its trolley came from CMK. I added an old figure of a lorry driver that happened to pass by and was watching the plane.
