Master Details From USA 2008 Product Announcements
We are proud to announce our exciting production line-up for 2008. Included will be the much requested USAAF Fighter Pilot, E.T.O, mid to late World War Two, a seated pilot with multiple heads, oxygen mask and goggle options as well as arm options and decals. Next is a Korean War Era USAAF Jet Fighter Pilot, a seated pilot with multiple heads, oxygen mask and goggle options as well as arm options and decals. Late 2008 will see the release of a Golden Age US Navy Fighter Pilot, a seated pilot with multiple heads, oxygen mask and goggle options as well as arm options. We also plan a WW2 US Navy Pilot and Gunner set for Trumpeter's SBD-3 Dauntless. We will also release a highly detailed F-102 type Afterburner System to modify Trumpeter's F-100 Super Saber to late US Air National Guard standards. We're teaming up with Avionix to enhance their cockpit sets for Hasagawa's P-47D Bubbletop Thunderbolt with a completely new rear bulkhead, canopy retraction system detail, vacuumformed canopy, resin canopy frame and retraction cradle, and fully detailed empty seat without cushion (our USAAF Fighter Pilot will drop right in) as well as many other details. Also for the Hasagawa P-47D, a complete Maximum Detail Set that will include wheel wells, engine and cowl flap details, navigation light lenses in clear, red and green, tail wheel details and a host of other goodies. Add to that a P-47D Main Landing Gear set with pewter struts and dimensional oleo forks and retraction arms, accurate resin gear doors, General diamond-treaded tires, completely detailed 2-part hubs with brakes and optional hub covers as well as brake lines with a bending form and you can turn your P-47D into a true scale model. A huge project of our is nearing completion and we hope to release it by Christmas. Imagine a perfectly scaled and completely detailed Pratt and Whitney R-2800 Radial Engine with optional magneto housings and both shallow and deep crankcase housings to enhance your Corsair, Thunderbolt or Hellcat model. Our TBF Main Landing Gear set will allow you to finally accurize the landing gear area of your Trumpeter TBF Avenger and includes accurate General tires, pewter main struts, dimensional oleo forks and retraction mechanism, gear doors, completely detailed 2-part hubs with brakes as well as brake lines with a bending form.
