1/32 scale F2G Corsair part list

(LSP: this is Rodney's proposed list for his F2G conversion for the Revell Corsair, Rodney says it won't work on the Trumpeter Corsair. Prices are not set yet as he is still working with the mold maker, when prices become available we will let you know. There is a plan to sell all of the items together as a kit or to sell them separately, we will give you more details on this as they become finalized and available. Rodney's F2G's can be seen on Skywriters and ARC)

"FUSELAGE"

1). 1 - Four blade prop hub.
2). 4 - F2G Corsair style prop blades.
3). 1 - Three blade prop hub, with 3 standard Corsair style prop blades.
4). 1 - One piece long cord F2G cowling.
5). 1 - Inside front cowling ring with braces.
6). 1 - R-4360-2 Engine block.
7). 7 - R-4360-2 Magneto's.
8). 28 - R-4360-2 Engine Cylinders.
9). 56 - R-4360-2 Cylinder push rod caps.
10). 1 - Bulk head to mount engine block in.
11). 3 - Bottom of fuselage cowling flaps.
12). 6 - Side of fuselage cowling flaps.
13). 2 - Side of fuselage exhaust stack divider plates.
14). 1 - Standard "front top of fuselage" air inlet.
15). 1 - Extended " " " " " " , ( extends to speed ring).
16). 1 - Raised "front top of fuselage" air inlet. (for racer's #57 & #74).
17). 1 - One piece "Vac-U-Form" windscreen and canopy.
18). 1 - Canopy "sliding track" cross bar.
19). 1 - Small hinge to hold the canopy roll bars, (roll bars not supplied). See item #39.
20). 1 - Three Piece cockpit tub. (Floor, front and rear bulkheads).
21). 2 - Small spacers to mount instrument panel to.
22). 1 - Left and one right side consoles, minus all switches, knobs, etc.
23). 2 - Instrument panels, with backing plate, (minus Waldron dials).
24). 1 - Pair of foot pedals, (contains 4 parts).
25). 1 - Joy stick.
26). 1 - Throttle Quad, minus all handles.
27). 1 - Two part Canopy crank handle.
28). 1 - Oxygen regulator, (minus hose and tubing).
29). 1 - Microphone, (minus wire cable).
30). 1 - F2G style seat. (contains 4 parts, plus 2 cushions).
31). 1 - Armor plate.
32). 1 - Head Rest.
33). 1 - Set of two horizontal cockpit/canopy sliding track rails.
34). 1 - Set of two horizontal cockpit/fuselage side braces.
35). 1 - One piece "F4U-1A" seat, with 2 mounting brackets.
36). 1 - Gun sight. ( "may" fit other Corsair models).
37). 2 - Dash mounted gun boxes, minus switches and knobs.
38). 1 - Cockpit Trim tab wheel.
39). 1 - Top Fuselage Rear Deck, w/ "T" guide, (includes #19 & canopy fin tip).
40). 1 - 4 piece fin/rudder/aux-rudder/trim tab, and hinge for tab.
41). 2 - Stabilizers.
42). 2 - Elevators, with two sets of two trim tabs and four tab hinges.
43). 1 - Set of two F2G style tail wheel doors.
44). 1 - F2G style tail wheel door tip. (Was used on "SOME" F2G's).
45). 1 - Tail wheel set, with several parts. (No tubing parts supplied).
46). 3 - Bulkheads for inside of tail wheel fuselage area.

NOTE: Some F2G's had the 6" tail wheel shank, while others did not. A hard rubber tire, and a "simulated" oil filled tire are included. Check your F2G photos for proper tire and shank. Modeler will have to make their own tubing parts for the tail wheel, including all handles and switches for the cockpit.

"WING"

1). 1 - One piece bottom center wing section, (includes F2G style air inlets).
2). 1 - Left & one right top center wing sections, with "molded-in" wheel wells.
3). 1 - Left & one right "inside" air inlet back covers.
4). 1 - Set of 4 air inlet divider plates.
5). 2 - Round Oil coolers, ( fits inside air inlet covers).
6). 2 - Front main gear doors.
7). 4 - Back main gear doors. (2 inside and 2 outside doors).
8). 8 - Two part main gear door hinges.
9). 2 - Main gear struts. (Has wire inside the cast resin shaft).
10). Several main gear strut bracing parts, (minus 4 tension springs).
11). 2 - Different styles of "torque links." ( 6 torque links total).
12). 1 - Set of two diamond tread tires mounted on a Corsair rim.
13). 2 - Sets of 6 wing flaps, 2 small inner flaps, 2 ailerons, & 3 trim tabs.
14). 3 - Aileron trim tab hinges.
15). 2 - Sets of 8, ( two and three part) flap hinges.
16). 2 - Sets of plates that fit between flaps and bottom of wing.*
17). 2 - Special made left and right "aft" outer wing panel inserts.
18). 1 - Left wing pitot tube.
19). 1 - Right wing spoiler, ( anti stalling bracket).

* Note: Have no idea what the real name is for item #16. Modeler will have to make his own main gear tension springs, and supply his own round brass and styrene rod.

There may be some parts missing on this list, due to human error.
