Thunderbolts in 1/32
1/32 P-47 kits were originally produced in the 1970s by
Revell and both the Bubbletop and Razorback kits from this series
can still be found and are fairly common. J Rutman products
makes multimedia resin kits of both the Bubbletop as well as
the Razorback, and both Hasagawa and Trumpeter have also announced
1/32 Thunderbolt kits to be released in 2007. This Set: These
decals represent the call letters, nose art, and a full set
of Dry Transfer stenciling unique to these aircraft and or the
P-47. The set does not include national insignias, or invasion
stripes. Be warned that the modeler is left to solve a number
of these issues without decal support. Keeping the set sparse
allowed us to include markings for all 4 ships. The Dry Transfer
stencils also include some duplicates of the call-letters, kill
markings, and crew placards for your convenience.
