Contact Resine
Contact Resin offers there replacement wheels for the Trumpeter P-38 Lightning. The set represents the capped-hub type of wheel seen on both early and late-model P-38s, this type is not included in the Trumpeter kit, only the spoked-wheel is offered.
The wheels are beautifully cast from accurate and detailed masters that provide a weight-on-wheels sit that will enhance the final appearance of the kit. The hub detail is accurately portrayed in the set; while the flat outside hubs are simple...
...the strut-side of the hubs reveal the wheel details free of the covers.
This set provides the missing alternate wheel style seen on so many opperational Lightnings that Trumpeter did not include in their kit.
