EagleParts ¶¶¶¶¶ Reviewed by Eagle Editions has just released a corrected tire and wheel set for the Fw 190 A-1 thru A-6. These 1/32nd scale wheels are designed to replace the inaccurate items supplied in the new Fw 190 A-5 from Hasegawa. Two resin wheels make up this set. They are cast in gray resin by Tiger Model Designs. The wheels are crisply molded and display superb details. Small items such as axle cotter pins are easily identified and indicate quality craftsmanship and attention to detail.
This is a very simple correction for any modeler to undertake. The only tasks to perform are to remove a casting block and clean up the tread. In addition a hole needs to be drilled in the hub for the axle. Eagle Editions has a reputation for supplying superb resin correction items for the serious Luftwaffe modeler.
