Rutman products hits a huge homerun here with this E/F conversion for the Trumpeter P-38 kit. This is all one needs externaly to turn the Trumpeter L into an early war Lightning. (image used; courtesy of Tom Cleaver) The set comes with 2 chin intake plugs, and 4 radiator scoops that are all modified to E/F specifications, as well as the "smooth" windscreen common to the earlier Lightnings. Be warned however, that there are a few other tasks awaiting the brave converter! The L model has dive flaps that must be removed, as well as a vastly different cockpit configuration. Rutman Products does produce a cockpit set for the earlier Lockheed fighter, but the dive flaps must be remedied by the modeler. Thanks to J
