Twobobs Aviation Graphics ¶¶¶¶¶ Reviewed by Twobobs Aviation Graphics has an expanding
number of decal sheets available for the Academy F/A-18C in 1/32nd
scale. In this review, we will have a closer look at the markings
they offer for Decals are supplied for two F/A-18C's: 1. F/A-18C BuNo. 164633 CAG Aircraft
Twobobs continue their format on the extensive instruction sheet. Painting and marking details are printed on a single sheet of quality gloss paper. The front page supplies left and right side profiles of both aircraft. Using ten small thumbnail photos, further smaller details are identified. Completing the page is a listing of resin aftermarket items for the Academy kit. Contact information is also supplied for modellers looking to raise concerns or have questions answered. The overleaf contains top and bottom profiles of each aircraft. These multiple views should eliminate any question as to where to correctly place each decal. Colour chips are included referenced to FS 595b colour charts. Available paints from Testors, Humbrol, Gunze Sangyo and Xtracolor are all indicated. The bottom of the page gives a brief history of VFA-25 and the operations they conducted during Operation Enduring Freedom, Southern Watch and Iraqi Freedom.
Twobobs Aviation Graphics offer a number of researched schemes for the aircraft of today. These
1/32nd scale decals are printed by Microscale Industries. They appear
to be in perfect register on my review sample and they are very thin.
Based on Microscale's reputation as an industry leader in decal printing,
I am sure that no problems will be encountered when applying the decals.
The markings are printed over three varying sizes of paper, including
complete stencil data. Wingwalks are also supplied thus setting this
sheet apart from earlier offerings.
