I was waiting for such a long time and now I got it. The Zero Type 21 from Doyusha in 1:32 scale. This is Pearl Harbor time Zero and it makes this kit mostly interesting. We had many type 52 Zeros until now and I'm very glad that the Type 21 is also available.

The box

There's hard carton box with a nice artwork of the Zero outside. There are five frames with 68 pieces of plastic styrene inside.

The parts

The first impression is that all the parts are very well detailed with engraved panel lines and rivets. A second look shows that the cockpit is well detailed, but the Tamiya and the Hasegawa kits are better. No flaps and other movable surfaces are given separated and no separate wing tips (for show them folded).But that's not a serious Problem. The Sakae engine is OK for the detailing level, but you have to put some lines here and there to make things better.

You can make 5 aircraft with the decals. One of them was flown from the famous Saburo Sakai ace and one is from the "Souryu" carrier during the Pearl operation in 1941.

Conclusion

I paid 32.50 Euro for that kit and this is a good price. If you use an aftermarket kit you can make again a superb model out of that kit and I'm waiting very curious to see the new 1:24 Zero from Trumpeter!
