This book differs from most of the modeling books in that the author uses mostly 1/32nd scale aircraft to demonstrate his techniques. Whether your modeling tastes are prop-driven or jets, you'll find something useful in this book.

The main chapters are:

  • Modeling Tips & Techniques
  • Cockpits
  • Engines
  • Landing Gear
  • Guns, Flying Wires, Control Cables, & Antenna Wires
  • Removing & Reattaching kit parts

The book is very well written and easy to follow with a generous amount of photos to illustrate the technique the author is describing.

Lets take "'Cockpits" as an example. It has the following sub-chapters:

  • Cockpit Painting & Weathering
  • Modifying Kit-Supplied Parts For Interior Detailing
  • Scratchbuilding an Interior
  • Making Seat Belts & Shoulder Harnesses
  • Gunsights
  • Advanced Techniques With Waldron Products

Some sub-chapters, like "Scratchbuilding an Interior" are broken down even further, into the separate parts of the interior.
