Introduction This is the newest release from Revell. It is actually the well known Tornado kit but this time a very interesting one representing the German "Wild Weasel". I opened the box
with mixed emotions because I knew that the ECR has many differences
to the "normal" Tornado IDS (new cockpits, new sensors, and
HARM capability). I'm not going to make a general review because the kit is well known to most of us. I'll try to show you some details of the kit. The box
There's a nice artwork
of 46+44 ECR in a most attractive Tiger meet paint scheme.
There's a huge decal sheet inside that makes you very pleased! You'll find everything you need on that sheet. The quality is really excellent. The big plus of the kit are the new parts that Revell made new for that kit:
New instruments for both front and back cockpit, new sensors for the belly and of course HARMS with their pylons. The quality is here excellent too. You can build two aircraft, one in the Tiger look (JaBoG 32) and one also from the JaBoG 32 but in the NORM 95 scheme.
I paid 39.99 Euro for that kit and that's an excellent price. Highly recommened. |
