Tamiya 1/32 RF-4B Phantom II Conversion

This is my 71st, 1/32nd scale Tamiya Phantom that I have built. It started as a "J" model. Added to this were Meteor Productions F-4B conversion sets CEC32180 and CEC32187. Followed by their CEC 32183 seamless intakes. All were very nicely cast and easy to work with (if you don't mind cutting up a fairly expensive kit). The cockpit is Combat Models (aka Black Box) "J" interior, modified to a "B" version. I used Combat Models RF-4 conversion set to add the long nose. Again both sets required a lot of cutting and fitting to convert the model. The decal sheet came from CAM which also provided the painting instructions. Slight weathering was done in oils.

It was an expensive but fun project. Number 72 is already being planned and the acquisition is in progress. Enjoy.
