Revell 1/32 Hawker Hunter

By Garry Pritchett

The 1/32 scale Revell Hawker Hunter was an enjoyable build. It went together quite well without the need for much seam filling and minimal sanding. I used a Black Box cockpit resin set and a Master Details Pilot figure. Yellow zirconian jewels were used to represent the AA missile seeker heads. The camouflage scheme is one that I saw in a photo some years ago and wanted to replicate it. The aircraft was painted in MM enamels with Alclad metallic paints for the bare metal sections. The pilot figure was painted with MM enamels and oil paints. Weathering was minimal.
