Revell 1/32 Spitfire IX, Converted to a XIV

Here are a few pictures of my 1/32 Revell Spit IX converted into a Spit XIV using the Laminar Flow Design resin conversion set, normally designed to enhance the Tamiya Spit IX or Spit XVI kits.

As I had this Revell Spit IX kit already available, I decided to use the LFD kit on it. Despite a few modifications to get the resin parts nicely adjusted, nothing was insurmountable.

And in the end a good operation for my wallet as I did not have to buy a new Tamiya kit...
