Border Model 1/32 Lancaster B. Mk.I

I present a model of the Avro Lancaster B Mk.I ex WnW and now Border Models. Despite the poorly drawn instructions, the model was equipped with all extras according to very extensive documentation.

I wanted to build a Lancaster from the later series, without the small windows along the fuselage. It turned out that all the parts for such a model are on sprues. I just had to find them because the building instructions are silent about them. Furthermore, the building instructions contain several serious errors and omissions.

All the glass parts are from the kit. They needed to be polished with Tamiya's diamond paste.

It took me 6.5 months to build this model.
