Revell 1/32nd P-51D Mustang

A special model this time.

My wife Sylvie passed away recently, following a long illness.

Somehow, to pay homage to her through my favourite hobby, I built this Mustang under the colours of the 357th FS, 355th FG, 8th Air Force that used the OS code letters corresponding to the initials of our respective first names, adding the B as individual letter (which is the first letter of our surname).

Then, I used a nice picture of Sylvie to create a "special Nose Art" (scanning it, reducing it and printing it on a decal sheet) and I painted her name beside it.

As it is, this fictional decoration based on a solid tradition of Mustang Fighter Groups gives Sylvie a sort of "everlasting life" in the Plane Kit Modelling World...
