Airfix 1/24 Messerschmitt Bf 109G-6

Here is a quick almost out of the box build of Airfix’s new kit. It was lots of fun and we can only hope that Airfix would take some notes.

I used a Model Monkey spinner (intended for Trumpeter), Airscale seatbelts and cockpit bits, Bob’s buckles tubing and the rest was in the box.

Paint is ATOM acrylic from Ammo.

I also have to thank Peter of Airscale for his kind help and upscaling for me his 1/32 sets and to Steve of Model Monkey who is producing great resin bits for big scale planes as much as for ships and many other subjects. And to William, who saved me by providing me with few sets of swastikas, since the Airfix has none.

Obviously a big thanks to all of you guys keeping me going throughout the build, you know who you are.
