Das Werk 1/32 Ef 126 "Elli"

Finished up the first large scale plane of 2026.
This is a kit I wanted to do for a long time, but the whole metallic and wood finish just seemed to be out of reach for my skills. Just so many things to go wrong and to be worried about.
Well, I'm happy I forced myself to start the kit! It actually turned out almost as I visioned it. A few areas that can be improved on for the next build, but overall an enjoyable build where I learned something new.
I added the Kübelwagen and figure for some extra interest. Figures are something I do were little of, but I do enjoy the process of brush painting and mixing colors. The Tamiya figure had very soft details in the face, so had trouble defining the features. Lots of things to learn here as well... Oh and yes, I don't paint eyes on 1/35, the shade from painting is usually good enough... but close up pictures are revealing.
