ICM 1/32 Hs 123A
By Gary Shively
My long sojourn with this simple but well-made kit is finally over.
Built mostly Out-of-the-Box, the plane doesn't need a lot of effort to give you a nice build. I only made one structural change, and that was to reduce the lengths of the oleos to give the impression that there is some weight to the machine. I reckon it makes the machine look a bit sleeker as in the inspiration photo.
The only aftermarket I used were HGW fabric belts and HGW surface rivets.
The Pilot is by AIMS and would probably look awesome with skilled painting.
Although sorely tempted, I abstained from using AI programming to create a background. I ordered a poster and cobbled together a snow base that I don't find entirely pleasing.
