Aerocraft Models | Undercarriage Set for Revell Phantom

The new tool Revell F-4F, F-4E, RF-4C, RF-4E, and more recently F-4G make for a very nice model of the iconic Phantom, however a major shortcoming is the undersized main wheel undercarriage, which is stick-thin and more like an elongated 1/48 version.
Rectifying this and also adding strength comes this wonderful replacement brass set from Aerocraft Models, in just three pieces featuring exquisite detail, and accuracy - not only to the nose gear leg, but the main undercarriage legs as well.
They will require a little clean up with a file, and removing small casting stubs with a razor saw, but that's it and ready to paint.
I was amazed when I compared the Revell nose gear leg with that provided in the Tamiya kit, thankfully this neat set solves that issue and more.
Yet another very welcome addition to the 1/32 Aerocraft range.
