Airfix 1/24 Fw 190D-9

This kit started as a Airfix 1/24 Fw 190A5/6 and was converted into a D-9 using J. Rutman's conversion kit. THIS KIT WAS A REAL BEAR TO BUILD, it took me 8 months to complete. It is finished as "Red 1" of the famous JV 44, "Galland Circus". Decals are from Mike Grant Decals and parts of the landing gear and cockpit are scratchbuilt.
