Hasegawa 1/32 Nakajima Ki-43 IIb

Here are a few photos of the old Hasegawa 1/32 scale kit of the Nakajima Ki-43 IIb.

I built it at the same time I built its younger brother, the Nakajima Ki-44 IIb I already posted in LSP pages a few days ago.

I did build a first N

akajima Ki-43 in early 2000's (one picture is included) but it was fun to go for a more original painting this time.

I did the usual job of engraving a few panel lines (and keeping as much as possible the raised rivets panel lines), added cables and else in the cockpit and to keep a certain consistency with the Ki-44, I also put a pilot in it.

It's a nice addition to my collection of Japanese WW2 fighters.
